It’s time to act!
This Wednesday, February 11 at 8 a.m. a Joint Hearing of the Nevada Assembly and Senate Judiciary Committees will take up reform of Chapter 40, Nevada’s construction defect laws. We need your help to make this reform a reality!
Please join us at Room 4401 of the Grant Sawyer State Office Building (555 E. Washington, Las Vegas) for a videoconference of the committee hearing and show your support for AB125, vital legislation reforming CD laws.
This joint session will hold hearings on AB125, a comprehensive reform to Chapter 40. AB125 contains the provisions of the indemnity reform bill the NSA has been promoting (AB1) as well as many other components of CD reform.
The hearing will be held in Room 4100 of the Legislature Building in Carson City and will be videoconferenced to Room 4401 of the Grant Sawyer State Office Building (555 E. Washington Ave, east of Las Vegas Blvd. North and across the street from Cashman Field).
Representatives of the NSA will be in attendance. We encourage all NSA members, others in the industry and those who have experienced the harm of Nevada’s current construction defect laws to attend this meeting and let your voices be heard.
The NSA represents the tens of thousands of hard-working Nevadans employed by construction subcontractors and their families. The NSA and its members have worked diligently with homebuilders, legislators of both parties, homeowners and others affected by Chapter 40 to help craft effective CD reform.
We need your help to bring this reform to life!
NSA members, please contact NSA Business Development Manager Rebecca Holmstrom if you plan to attend.
