Hill was appointed to his current position by Governor Sandoval in October of 2011. He has played an integral part in bringing businesses such as Tesla, Faraday Future, Barclaycard, Apple, Hyperloop, Take Two Interactive, and Catamaran to Nevada, businesses that have, and will, create thousands of jobs and bolster the state’s economy.
Griffin has been active in Nevada politics for the last two decades. Elected to the Nevada State Assembly in 2002, Josh served on three key committees: Commerce and Labor, Taxation and Ways and Means. He was elected to serve as the Assistant Minority Leader for the Republican caucus. Prior to serving in the Legislature, Griffin worked as a lobbyist for a variety of business interests and has been involved with dozens of successful Nevada political campaigns. As a partner in one the state’s largest lobbying firms, Josh has represented the NSA for 10 years.
Brown began his career in 1996 with the Reno Engineering Corporation. In 2010, Mr. Brown founded Land Development Associates (LDA), a full-service development consulting firm. LDA has successfully developed over $200 million in projects throughout the Las Vegas Valley – from acquisition and entitlements through construction support and certificate of occupancy. In addition, David has a bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University in Civil Engineering and professional engineering licenses in California and Nevada.
The Nevada Subcontractors Association is honored to welcome this panel of esteemed speakers, who will update NSA members on 2016 progress in both Northern and Southern Nevada that will impact the construction industry. We welcome NSA members to attend and learn more about the new Faraday Future deal, additional plans for Apex and North Las Vegas industrial developments, in addition to other economic plans that will have an impact on your business.
