The Pro Gun Club in Boulder City is the site of Target Homelessness, a day of sporting clay, food, fun and prizes to benefit HomeAid Southern Nevada. Mark your calendars and act today! Target Homelessness is scheduled for Thursday March 19 with early-bird pricing available until January 15. (For registration form click here.)
All proceeds from Target Homelessness will go to continue building shelters and facilities for the homeless in Southern Nevada. Sponsorship opportunities for this event are available!
“Target Homelessness is a sporting clay event in its second year in Southern Nevada that benefits HomeAid Southern Nevada and its initiative to build shelters and facilities for the homeless in our local community,” said HomeAid Southern Nevada Executive Director Caitlin Shea. “This event raised over $17,000 in its first year and is a great way to give back while having some fun too!”
HomeAid Southern Nevada is a nonprofit organization that builds new lives for Southern Nevada’s homeless. The group has served more than 1,500 homeless children and adults and renovated more than 95,000 square feet.
More than 70% of every HomeAid Southern Nevada project is donated through labor, services, materials and time. Its latest project is an expansion of the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth drop-in center.
“We are almost completed with our 2014 shelter build, which was an over $342,000 project that will only cost approximately $80,000 (75% completely donated) due to the generosity of the trade and subcontractors community,” Shea said. “Our 2015 event is expected to double in size which means more money raised is more shelter build projects that we can do in the community! We hope to see you all on Thursday, March 19th!”
Check-in for Target Homelessness begins at 8:00 am on March 19, 2015 and shooting starts at 9:00. Lunch will begin at noon and will include an awards presentation. Get your tickets today!
