Whenever there is a worthy cause and wherever there are people in need, members of the construction industry can be found helping. The Nevada Subcontractors Association carries on this proud tradition by teaming up with Project 150.
Working under the motto “High School Is Tough Enough” Project 150 operates in 34 Las Vegas high schools assisting more than 1,100 homeless, displaced and disadvantaged high school students. Project 150 provides these youngsters with food, clothing, school supplies, sports equipment, shoes and other essential items.
Along with Project 150 the NSA will be presenting a Career & Employment Fair (for High School students only) on Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway. Sponsored by Clark County Commissioner Lawrence Weekly, this Job Fair is a tremendous opportunity to connect employers with enthusiastic job seekers.
An employer registration form is available here. Sponsorship opportunities for the Career & Employment Fair are also available. For more details, contact the NSA’s Cindy Creighton at [email protected] or Project 150 at [email protected].
