The Nevada Subcontractors Association recognized one of its best at its Winter Membership Meeting. The NSA held a ceremony during the meeting to honor outgoing President Louis Polish, Jr. of Alpha Landscapes.
Polish became President of the NSA just before an event that virtually no one expected, an economic downturn that devastated the construction industry. Polish’s leadership – his vision, dedication and hard work – guided the NSA through the recession and prepared the organization for the recovery. He was tireless and devoted incalculable amounts of time and superhuman quantities of energy to the NSA. The organization is forever grateful for his leadership.
“Thanks to Louie’s leadership, he guided the NSA through some dark times, we’re here today to fight again,” said current President Scott Donnelly of Cooper Roofing & Solar.
Donnelly presented Polish with a plaque on behalf of the NSA expressing the organization’s “gratitude and deep appreciation for outstanding vision, dedication and commitment to excellence” during his tenure.
As the economy is rebounding the NSA is becoming stronger than ever and better-prepared to work on behalf of the tens of thousands of men and women who make up Nevada’s subcontractors.
