The Nevada Subcontractors Association is proud to announce four new subcommittees to our membership program! These committees are designed for both NSA subcontractor and associate members! If there is a particular committee that you feel fits your area of expertise, or you just want to learn more about a specific topic, please sign up by emailing Rebecca Holmstrom at [email protected]. Take a look at our newly implemented committees below and sign up today!
Safety
The Safety Committee will focus on planning NSA safety training courses, collecting safety data and information to report to NSA members, and identifying safety issues facing the construction industry. Members on this committee will also be able to hear from a variety of guest speakers and view demonstrations from safety coordinators and trainers.
Community Outreach
The Community Outreach Committee will focus on exploring and meeting with different charitable organizations that the NSA can collaborate with through events and fundraisers. They will then report and present possible projects and events to NSA Board Members and assist with securing donations and fundraising for NSA charitable events.
Government Affairs
The Government Affairs Committee will serve as a legislative watch on behalf of all NSA members. They will create material to update members on policies/laws affecting their businesses, offer status updates on topics such as Indemnity and Chapter 40 reform, and will collect information on additional issues affecting NSA members. Members of this committee will also have the opportunity to participate in interviewing and educating lawmakers and candidates on issues affecting the construction industry.
Membership Benefits
The Membership Benefits Committee will review current membership discount programs and will work together to expand the membership benefits package. They will also work on identifying new opportunities for membership functions, assist in the planning of social events for members, and work to expand our membership base and sponsorship opportunities for the association.
