Wherever there’s a good cause, you can count on Nevadans to come together to support it and members of the construction industry are always right there to lend a hand, or a hammer, or a house.

An awestruck Army veteran still limping from wounds he suffered in Afghanistan four years ago doesn’t consider himself a hero although that’s what everybody called him Thursday when he accepted the keys to his new home in southwest Las Vegas.

NSA members Alpha Landscapes, BMC Select Build, Boral Roofing, Burnham Paint, Cooper Roofing & Solar, Floor Designs of Nevada, Focus Electric, Focus Plumbing, Mammoth Underground, Masco Services, Power House Plastering, Sierra Air, Silver State Specialties, Sunrise Carpentry and Sun State Components all contributed to this Operation Finally Home project.

This home is one more example of members of the construction industry giving back to their communities.
