Don’t miss a chance to give your company’s workforce a #LIFTT! The NSA is once again teaming with Project 150 for their 2nd Annual Career Fair for High School Students.
The Clark County Government Center at 500 S. Grand Central Pkwy in Las Vegas will be the site of the #LIFTT150 Career & Employment Fair. The job fair begins at 10 am and lasts until 2 pm Saturday, April 18. #LIFTT stands for Life Information For Today & Tomorrow.
With residential construction activity increasing, many subcontractors are in need of eager and motivated employees. The high school students that Project 150 attracts to its #LIFTT150 Career & Employment Fair, which is also sponsored by the Junior League of Las Vegas and Commissioner Lawrence Weekly, fit the bill.
The first Project 150/NSA job fair, held last summer, was a tremendous success, with many NSA member companies attending. The NSA is excited about the opportunity to team up with Project 150 for the upcoming event.
Last year’s Career & Employment Fair by Project 150 and the NSA attracted hundreds of jobseekers and resulted in 31 onsite hires, as reported by Project 150. The construction industry is growing again and there is a need to attract young people to the industry. The #LIFTT150 job fair by Project 150 and the NSA is the perfect venue for this!
The #LIFTT150 Career & Employment Fair for High School Students is Saturday, April 18 from 10 am until 2 pm at the Clark County Government Center at 500 S. Grand Central Pkwy in Las Vegas.
NSA members are encouraged to participate and employer registrations for the event can be found here. Sponsorships opportunities are available as well. The sponsorship form is on the second page of the same form.
Project 150 is also holding a series of workshops to prepare students for the Career & Employment Fair. In addition to the valuable information provided, students attending the workshops will receive an entry for a grand prize drawing at each workshop they attend. Information for students on the job fair and the workshops is also available.
