The 78th session of the Nevada Legislature was an historic session, especially for subcontractors and suppliers in the state of Nevada. Many consequential pieces of legislation were considered, passed and signed into law, not the least of which was AB125, the long-awaited Construction Defect Reform bill.

The Nevada Subcontractors Association is pleased to welcome NSA Lobbyist Josh Griffin and NSA Legal Counsel Craig Marquiz as the key presenters for our August Membership Luncheon.

Josh Griffin will be providing our members with a recap of the 2015 Legislative Session along with information on key pieces of legislation that will affect our industry.

Craig Marquiz will be providing detailed information regarding the components of Indemnity from AB125 and answering questions regarding contracts.

As if that weren’t enough, we’re also going to welcome the incoming NSA Board of Directors for the 2015-2017 term!

The August Membership Meeting is Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Orleans Hotel & Casino’s 2nd Floor Banquet Center (4500 W. Tropicana Ave.). Check-in begins at 11:15 with the luncheon and presentation starting at 11:30.
