The August Membership Meeting’s legislative recap will provide NSA members with vital information about new laws affecting their businesses that they will not get anywhere else. We will also be installing our new board members for 2015-17.

The 2015 session of the Nevada Legislature was historic by virtually every measure. The NSA welcomes Senator Patricia Farley, NSA Lobbyist Josh Griffin and NSA Legal Counsel Craig Marquiz to present a recap of this session and how its products will affect subcontractors and suppliers in Nevada.

Griffin and Sen. Farley will provide insight on key pieces of legislation affecting the construction industry. Marquiz will present detailed information regarding the indemnity components of the construction defect law, AB125, and these components’ unique impact on subcontractors and suppliers.

In addition to this wealth of information, the NSA will also be passing the torch. We are thanking our outgoing board members and welcoming our new board members for 2015-17 during the meeting.

The NSA’s August Membership meeting is Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Orleans Hotel & Casino’s 2nd Floor Banquet Center. Check-in will begin at 11:15 am with the luncheon and presentation starting at 11:30.
