The Nevada Subcontractors Association and Framing Contractors Association’s Summer Membership Meeting featured leaders from the Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Nevada Safety Consultation and Training Section (SCATS), government agencies tasked with enforcing workplace safety laws and helping employers and employees create and maintain safe and healthy workplaces. NSA members were treated to an informative discussion and extensive Q&A about how they can better protect their employees and improve safety in the workplace with the people who make safety their living.

At the meeting Jess Lankford, Program Coordinator for Nevada OSHA, and Stephen Rodgers, Program Coordinator for Nevada SCATS, shared insights for minimizing risks to employees’ safety and businesses’ bottom lines. NSA members left with a much better understanding of how to keep their employees safe and healthy and how to avoid damage to their business’s health as well.
