The Nevada Subcontractors Association is proud welcome a new member to our Board of Directors – Leon Connally of RSP, Inc., a Las Vegas plumbing contractor.
Leon moved from Buffalo, WY to Las Vegas in 1999. He closed his family-owned plumbing company and left Wyoming looking for a new home where the weather didn’t have as much of an effect on the ability to work.
He started working at RSP, Inc. (also known as Rising Sun Plumbing) shortly after they opened for business in January 2003. Leon has held the position of Sales Manager since he started.
He says, “I have learned a lot as I have watched the massive market growth when we first opened and then had to survive as we went through a painful slow period. Now with the slow recovery we have been able to implement what we have learned along the way.”
Leon has been extensively involved in the industry and in the community. During the last few years he has participated on code committees to prepare and write local amendments to the adopted plumbing and mechanical codes. He has also been involved in committees that have worked with the Southern Nevada Homebuilders Association to evaluate the necessity of requiring Fire Sprinklers in all homes.
Of his election to the NSA’s Board of Directors Leon says, “I look forward to help where I can, as well as to learn a lot in the process.”
The NSA welcomes Leon Connally to our Board of Directors and the other Board members look forward to working with him.
